Tyler Schroeder
Tyler joined Virginia Tech for summer 2021 as a REU student from the Center of Neutrino Physics. He focused on theoretical studies of photo- and electro-production of quarkonia (J/psi and Upsilon) off the proton in high energy electron-proton collisions at the future Electron Ion Collider. He studied various way to modelize the production of the heavy quark pairs and implemented his results in a new dedicated event generator aiming at studying such reactions for the EIC-ECCE consortium.
